Thanks, guys. It was a lot of fun to design and the build team was great. I have enjoyed the tC immensely. It is too bad that I have to get rid of it (we just had our third kid). The entire system is for sale right now, but I dont have enough posts to post it here. You can look for it on other tC forums (but out of respect I will not post links to competing sites).

Not much really....all of the hatch equipment is an older style....however having conections in Circuit City I was able to obtain all of this wonderful stuff...lol. The deck however, at the time, was 1200 bucks (right when the D2 came out). The work was all custom done by myself....took quite a while to get it to look just right. There was more time than money put into this setup.

Here it is, let me know what you think... After a long time with the xPlods in cheap boxes sitting in the trunk, i decided to change it up a bit... 2 @ 12" Eclipse in custom sealed enclosure.

If that 'amp in the console' is what I think it is, it's not an amp. The old Fiero's had something like that under the seats. Instead of having a huge speaker making all kinds of noise, it just thumps against the floor so that you feel the bass, save your hearing, and keep the neighbors happy. I'm still new here, but the reason I came on was looking to get some ideas on what to do next, and to see if anyone else had built anything like the boxes I'm working on. I saw someone say this is what they wanted to do, but I haven't seen it here yet (not exactly). We just got our tC the week of Thanksgiving, but I'm almost done with the subs. Here are two pics I've got so far, and I'll post finished pics when I'm done (hopefully tomorrow night). Here's what I have so far:

Here are some pics of the install in my tC. The requirement I gave to Matt (my boyfriend/installer) was to keep it as stock looking as possible. Each amplifier is located behind the rear stock speaker grille locations. The spare tire had to be removed to provide enough air space for the pair of 12" subs. We had to extend the 52 kickpanel wires to get them out of the way and install the 6.5" and tweeter on 1.5" MDF baffles. The system was built with sound quality competition in mind (competition rules are lengthy and specific - detailing install requirements such as wire termination, fuses, mounting hardware, etc.) Feel free to PM me with any questions about the install or equipment.
