the box was built to specs. it looks bigger in person. but you have no idea how much air space that sub needs. oh and btw, i have focal components in the front. the expensive one that are like $399 or $499 powered by a 4 channel eclipse amp. so i got beat, and i can hear the words too. lol

Alpine CDA-9857
1 JL 10w6v2 customized in a Fiberglass box covered in black suede or painted black?
JL 500/1 amp
JL XR650-CSi Components, JL XR650-CXi Coaxials and a 300/2 amp.
All customized with 3/4" MDF wooden baffels for front and rear speakers. All Stinger connections!

The sub and amp should be fiberglass on each side of the hatch. Hopefully it works out well! I wanted something powerfull but nothing thats taking over my trunk cause i need it. This should HOPEFULLY be done during the summer? HOPEFULLY!

 

i'm slowly working on my setup..two 12's, front and rear components, 4 Eu-700's hidden somewhere sealed.

 

I'm thinking of getting either two Crystal Comp 12's ported, or two Image Dynamics IDQ's ported, and feeding either with my Massive p1500.1 amp.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions? Don't suggest JL, because as much as I love it, I don't want to have the same stuff as my friends. And I need a 12" sub with a mounting depth less than 6 1/2", because that's my box's height.

Anyways, i just finished my second box in my tc. the first was a temp box so thats why i havent really posted my system in here yet but i just glassed my alpine type r 10" sub into the rear drivers side panel by the tail light. i will have pics tomorrow LATE NIGHT since i will be working late.

I have been wanting to do this since i bought my car but i finally just got off my lazy *** and made it. i actually just made it today, haha

Here is a new pic of mine. Changed it up a little. Switched over to Rockford Fosgate. Running a T30001BD and a T8004 in there now for the amps. Running 3 T110D4 subs, T162S in the front doors, and a set of T162C in the rear. Has on board power supply now.
