Default Power inverter install for laptop

I would like to install a power inverter in my car so that I can power my laptop or any other various electronics. I'm looking for something that won't take up much room at all. I'd love to have just an outlet somewhere in the floorboard. What is the best way to go about doing this? Thanks!

i brought one at Best Buy and mounted it inside my passenger side kick panel and ran the power switch to the blank plates on the left side of the steering wheel.

Do you have any pictures of where the plug is? Is everything completely hidden?

i had one mounted on the panel under the glove box, figured out that it was too heavy and made that panel pop out all the time, and decided to move it under the passenger seat. Works great :-D

Where did you hide the wiring?

the power line came thru the passenger side firewall grommet, down behind the kick panel, under the door sill panel, under the carpet, and up through the hole under the passenger seat.
the ground went through that same hole, under the carpet, under the center console, and ring terminal'd onto the ebrake bracket.
