Hey guys I am going to ordre my power wire and RCAs from http://www.knukonceptz.com/ and was wondering how long they needed to be in the tC. Im ordering 0/1 AWG Power wire so its $2.35 per foot and the last thing I wanna do it order too much and waste it. I know that for many cars 16 feet is more than enough, so how much did you use on your tC? Also same thing on the RCAs. I dont want too much that will be coiled up under the hatch and possibly cause interferience. Thanks for the help!!!

 

16 feet sounds about right... IMO... you're better off paying the extra 10 bucks and have the security of knowing you won't run short.

I wouldn't worry about interference on the RCA's... All of their cables are shielded. Twisted pair shielded are better. Make sure you have enough slack so that if you change your mind on amp placement you won't have to re-run the cables.

 

I did 20' 1/0 awg, 20' RCA's from knu. You really are better off safe than sorry..depends on where you mount everything too.

Remember, 1/0 at a dealer is easily $4-$6/foot

 

20' here and the RCAs are coiled up in the hatch area and I have no interference. Not to worry, just get about 20'.
