Default Premier 860 vs Alpine 9853

So heres the deal, I'm going to get a new deck in the near future and I'm stuck between these two. I like them both but i'm not real sure about which one. They are both nice. At the moment I'm leanning more towards the Premier because I have previously owned a Pioneer deck and had zero problems with it. I also am not real sure about the touch slide/glide bar thingy on the Alpine. Anyway, here are the links to the two.

Plus... they are both in the same price range... sooo

Edit: one more question, what can the Premier 860 do that the Pioneer DEH-P580MP cant?

lol yea, that was basically what made me change my mind. The gliebar or whatever it is sucks... hard to go through the menu with ease, especiall the ipod menu.

Thats exacly what i've heard from my friend. I have the 860mp and I love it. The only thing I would give it up for is the Avic-N2. =)
