I was having a problem with my car remote... it would do nothing when I hit buttons on it to unlock... I changed the battery inside it with a CR2016 as it says.

But now when I put the battery in it always flashes the alarm button... and constantly tries to sound my car alarm. If i put the battery in and I'm anywhere near my car the car alarm horn goes off... so it constantly sends the panic signal.

Anyone know how to fix this or is my key hosed? Thanks for your help in advance.

 

Try your other key!!! Take your bad one to the dealer!

 

Woot. I'm just about to take my spare key remote in as well. One of them seemed to wear out REALLY fast.
