Hey all.. The tC sat for about 2 weeks without being started .. When I tried to start it up, the battery was completely dead (no lights, or anything) ..

I jumped it and drove it around for 30+ minutes .. I discovered a couple of things .. My Greddy Turbo Timer powered on but it only displayed "] ] ]" on the screen .. And then I discovered that the Map features on the Eclipse 2454 didn't work.. It was asking me to insert the map DVD (it was already in there) .. I took it out and put it back in several times but no luck.. I also noticed the EQ and other audio functions on the unit were not accessiblie.. they are greyed out ... The audio plays fine and I can change stations and what not, I just can't access those features on the unit ..

Got the battery tested and it shows a good charge ..

Any ideas?

I don't know much about that unit... but there should be a reset button on there somewhere... maybe try that?

 

So Eclipse told me to unplug it for 30+ minutes to do a hard reset .. I did that and it didn't fix anything .. Guess I'll have to send it in .. I can only imagine how much that will cost to fix it ... I have an expensive paper weight at the moment
