Default problem heating up car

whenever i turn the heat on to like 4 bars my tc's engine begins to cool, and when i warm up the car in the morning it does not properly heat up so i was wondering if the heat is taken from the engine to warm up the inside and if so can i do something so the car can warm up inside and not cause the engine to cool down?

...all heat from the a/c comes from the engine. Thats all it is. You really shouldnt see a very substancial drop in engine temp with the heater on though..

I live up north an have the same problem when its below 32 ish. I was thinking of putting some cardbord over part of the radiator on cold days. I will let you know if it helps, but i have to wait for a cold day.
