i previously had a 02 nissan sentra se-r and i had a ps2 in the glove. i was gonna put the ps2 in the scion, but i was thinkin bout waitin for the ps3 and puttin that in instead. what do u guys think?

 

It's your $$$, but at $500 and $600 that's alot to put into a car considering it wont ever be used that much, I rather buy the damn thing and hook it up to a 42" or 50" plasma...

ps3 not even worth it. It has like internet features you cant use in ur tc which would make it be something like a ps2 and The graphics wont matter cuz its prolly gonna be on a 7 inch screen.

And if someone steals your 150 buck ps2 you wont be as mad as where if someone stole your 650 ps3.

 

If you're gonna have one anyway, just set it up for the ps3 and use it in your house until a show comes along, then throw it in. Or get a cheap ps2 and throw it in the glovebox.

 

you'd be wasting the blu-ray dvd player on a standard lcd. and for $600??

Yeah, PS3 in the car is rediculous. consider that they're having enough of a problem cooling those suckers down in room temperature, what about when you got your car parked in 90 degree weather. and like the other person said, kind of a waste on a 7 inch screen. the thing is made to use HDMI. hook up a modded xbox, that way you don't have the discs. ;)

 

good point, but i'll already have one in the house--brother is gettin one.

i see most of yall think its a waist of money, but im willin. i think it'll be a nice feature for my tC. so if i have the funds come nov i should be gettin it

 

or get 2 360's for the same price!

If you want, you can always give me the $600 and I can put it to some good use.

But on a serious note, instead of buying another PS3, I would rather put that $600 towards games and accesories for the PS3.
