i have a question for you tech guys: what kind of power inverter should i get if i want to power up just a playstation 2? there are a whole bunch out there with different max wattages and what not and im not sure what to get. thanks for the help!

Here's a tip:

Find out the rated power consumption of the device you wanna connect, then buy a power inverter rated above the power consumption of the device.

Example:

If a laptop has a power consumption of...hmm let's say 120W. Get a power inverter rated 150W or to be safe, get 200W. Always have an ample allowance.

 

if it's a ps2 slim... you can hook it to an intec car adapter which plugs int othe cig lighter like i have.

 

a super nintendo is 17 watts...think 25 watt power inverter will do?

 

i got a spare power inverter if anyone wants to buy it off me for cheap its a 200w briture model bpi-200 constant output = 200w. i got a different one cause i needed more wattage, so esisso, if you want it i'll sell just for 20$ shipped. i got it off ebay for like 30$
