Question about Sub Setup
Hi everyone, i have a question about a sub setup, i want to run 2 JL Audio 12W1V2-4 Subwoofers http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...1120&rd=1&rd=1
but i dont know what amp to use, ive gotten two different suggestions from people

you need about a 250x1 @ 4 ohm, mono amplifier. with mono amps, their really 2 channel so when they write the rating, they assume they will be bridged into a mono amp for one sub. Because you have two, you wont bridge them (you could but you might screw up ur amp) rather you will just single channel each sub, making it about 1/2 power of the rating. each one of the subs you are getting continueously handle 125 watts, thus the amp you need will be doubble that, 250X1 (same thing as 125X2) good luck
