Is the red RCA positive? Or the White one?

RCA are right and left.

red - right
white - left

but it doesn't matter if it's subs. does your line out have a remote wire for the amp?

No, I just use the wire that is attached to the RCA

Well, I tried both ways....it didnt work

tapping into a rca doesnt sound correct. i would of thought that by useing a adjustable line output converter(turned all the way down) would have worked fine. because all its doing is getting a signal so it can pulse with the beat. if you havent tryd a adjustable LOC i would try that.
