Default question for anyone from illinois' northwest suburbs

i was wondering if anyone know or any shop that does led swaps on gauge clusters and a price if they know.

i've talked to x-treme graphics, but the guy that talked to me was an _______. i asked him how much it was and he said that it was gonna be $50 an hour and i asked how long would it take and he said "whenever i finish." and i was like well could i get an estimate on how long it would take, because i don't wanna get ripped off and there gonna be slacking off and charging me for more than they should. you guys know what i mean. and to top it off he responses back "THEN GO DO IT YOURSELF!" and hung up. can you believe that? i don't know if its just me that i feel that i should get at least a maximum on how long its gonna take so i know how much im gonna at least gonna be spending.

it takes me between 2-3 hours to do the entire car.

(about 1 for the hvac (with the mod to ensure proper brightness), 30 min total for doors and steering wheel, and about 45 min for the gauges) start to finish.

for a complete novice shop who doesn't know anything.. it could take them more than 5-6 hours. most shops wouldn't even do this at all... you'd just have to find someone in your area tha can solder and take things apart....

or else your only other options is do it yourself.. (which us here can help you with)... or ship them out to someone (which there are a few people here that can help you with as well)
