Default Question bout KILLERGLASS?!

I am kinda looking into getting some KillerGlass radiator hoses and was wondering if anybody has ever had one? Also I was looking for pictures of them during the day and night. How hard are they to install? What is the installation process? just any info period would be nice.

Just trying to come up with some stuff for my tC that I use more as a show car than race car.

i just never got around to it and i have bills to pay. Its a great product though. Its easy to install, u just have to get a new radiator hose from the dealer (about $1 cut out the middle of the hose, put the two clamps on and heat up the clamps so they tighten...it comes with directions. haha

it's fairly straightforward

the only thing would be getting some extra coolant as you'll have to drain a bit to get the level down prior to pulling off your old radiator hose. (or you can try catching it and reusing it... sure.)

I had one, the guy who cut my hose cut one end at an angle ( I didn’t know) and one day while i was driving it came off, could have blown my engine.

It’s a great piece and I will put it back sometime, I bought 2 spare rubber radiator hoses for it.

Here are some pics of it when I had it in...

its not pink it looks pink tho, the stock fluid is called toyota red. and i was advised not to swap coolants cause of sediment build ups with other fluids that can be harmefull for the engine

cool mang,

i had my stock hose cut for it, but like i mentioned earlier the guy that cut my hose cut one end at an angle so it didnt have that much bite on it, and about 3 months later it came off while i was driving and sprayed fluid and smoke through my hood vent.

the guy that cut it was fired lol but i have boughten 2 new rubber hoses for it so when i have the time i might put it back.

but i dont suggest getting different fluid, sure it looks cool, but i wouldnt want sediments and stuff building up like i was told from different fluids messing with the car

I'd rather blue. I want all my lighting on my car to be blue and this will throw it off.

^^ i was the one that advised jon not to do green because of the different chemical makeup of the old school green crap.

however.. the BMW blue coolant should be compatible if that's what you would like to have done.

Ok but I want to be sure that I'm safe running the blue coolant. I'm not trying to mess my motor up right after I boost it.

you can do further research on the subject if you want.

i kinda forgot most of it.. so i'd have to search on google or something to figure it all out again..
but i do know people that have toyota's and are using the blue BMW coolant and they haven't had any issues yet
