Default Question regarding tC Side view mirror connector

OK i have a 06 tc which i bought use but came with those crappy ebay mirrors which you cant see anything, but i bought the oem ones and i noticed that they, who ever hooked up the ebay ones to the car cut off the connector to plug into the mirror itself to ajust it....so what i wanna know is it possible just to buy that white connector from some where or do i have to buy new wiring, cause i took off my door panel to check it out, looks like just that connector was cut off so i guess they can use it for the cheap ones, which i didnt know at the time didnt even think anything about it,i knew they werent oem ones but didnt think to look at the connector..

So maybe i can make my own connector some how or buy them seperate or if im just screwed..

I doubt you can buy just the connector new. Best option is to check local junk yards.

You can by the connector itself. I had to buy some headlight connectors after the accident. I'm not sure if they have the connector for the side mirrors but it's worth the try.

You can pull the part number off of toyodiy.com/parts.

go to the dealer, they will be able to get the connector and pigtails. you usually don't need the part number unless there are many connectors next to each other which makes it harder to find in the pics on the parts computers. just tell them its for the mirror.
