Default questions about rear speakers.

hey,
i have an 07 TC, the head unit and speakers are stock. i have 2, 12 inch kenwood typhoon subwoofers with a 980 watt amp.

anyways, i have a pair of sony 5.25 speakers that were in my gf's acura and they sounded really good. so my first question is do you think they will be a big improvement over the stock rear speakers?

and my second question is.. how exactly do i remove the panel to get to the rear speakers? does it just pop off like the trim around the head unit or what? if anyone can help me out it would be great.

look up mandos's interior gutting DIY to remove the rear panels.

and you probably wont notice a difference with the rears swapped out. imean... it's behind you. most of the sound comes from the front.

i really need some component speakers for the back becuase when you sit in the back during loud rap music, the bass really overpowers the highs, but when you are upfront, the sound is just right. lol but i never ride in the back or even plan to do so, so i guess it doesnt matter.

Rear speakers in the tC suck because for many people they're closer to your ears than the front speakers. The sound from the closest speaker will arrive at your ears first, making it appears as the primary sound source, even when it's lower in amplitude than the front speakers. I don't turn my back to the stage at a concert, so I don't like such rear speakers. Either eliminate them all together, or get a HU or external processor that delays the signal going to them so that they function as appropriate rear-fill, not front soundstage.
