I have read conflicting reports depeding on who did the research. IMO its just not worth the extra loot for the v1. Plus with the rx 65, you can send it to them for software upgrades at a later date for FREE.

Those pics should give you an idea of how it looks from the outside and inside. The night pic is how it looks at night in "dark" mode. Sorry it looks so bad, its because of the lighting and the fact that I just left the gym and was shaky as hell. Let me know if u need more pics

same here. Reports from radar roy seem a little bias towards the rx65. They also seem to put emphasis on the fact that car and driver called it chicken little of radars. The reason I am torn is because there are also reports that valentine1 did not incorporate pop until later, saying that it wasn't going to be big or something along those lines. Its their attitude towards POP that has me hanging on which product to purchase.

if your area uses laser, then valentine 1 is better, if your area uses radar then rx65 is better. What are you guys all deciding to do. If you are worried about laser, you could always get a laser jammer. I know its illegal in cali but then so is front window tint.

Laser jammers DO NOT work. I have read many reports that confirm this. And with laser you are screwed no matter waht, no Radar detector will help you. Do your research.

laser jammers do work. RADAR jammers do not. Before you make such a bold and affirmative statement, learn to read and fully comprehend what is being read.

I feel I must note, ElDakaTiger and anyone else unfamilure with this kinda tech, that radar/laser detectors are only a tool and not a surefire thing. Yes, you can detect laser, but when you get tagged with laser there is no 'seeing' it before it actually comes. When you're tagged, you're tagged. Its almost the same with radar: law enforcement does not have to be streaming radar to get hits. then can pop you with little bursts of radar, much in the same way laser works.

Thats not even to mention how the law can PACE you without ever using speed detection tools.

Awareness first, technology second, and you'll be worry free.
