Default Radio Fuse

I replaced my head unit about 7 months ago and all working well until last week when the radio fuse in the Engine compartment blew. I slapped on a new one and it blew out again. Anyone has any clue to to what is causing this? I checked the wires and nothing is exposed and I am using an adapter to connect it.

Any help/insight greatly appreciated.

Does it blow out as soon as you turn on the radio?
Have you installed anything else in the car recently that may also be using that circuit?
Did you replace the speakers also, if so if one lead has come loose and is touching the other lead or metal it could be causing the head unit to "ground out".
Is there a fuse in the back of the aftermarket head unit that you installed, and is it blown, and is it a higher, lower, or same amperage as the radio fuse in your fusebox?

Its in the engine compartment fuse box. lower right corner behind the headlight. the fuse is a yellow 20A near top right corner of the fuse box.

Alright...here's the deal. There is no fuse in the back of the head unit. After further testing, i found that if the harness is attached to the original wirings, the fuse blows, without the head unit itself attached. SO it isnt the head unit. something is wrong with my harness.

BUT what could it be? everything is the same. nothing changed. HELP!!!
