radio just shut off...HELP.
so i disconnected my fuse for my subs prior to reconnecting them together, i had the key in the ignition and listening to some music. i put the ground cable, and the battery cable into the amp, then hooked up the REM cable. Once i hooked up the REM cable my radio just shut off. Anyone know the problem. Remember that my fuse for the sub is separated.

One trick I've used to test an amp when the REM wire is in question is to take a small 'jumper' wire from the power line to the REM line. For example if you have an amp with the screw type of wire connectors you can just take a short piece of wire and touch one side to the power screw and the other to the REM screw.
Other people might say that's a bad idea cause it might short something out but....what's the fun in playing it safe all the time?
If you want to play it safe, you'll see my previous post about a multimeter.

That is my second guess is that you fried the deck. When you connected the rem it sent a huge voltage spike which probably took out the head unit. Next time make shure to have power off or dissconnected before making any electrical connections. That sux.... sorry dude
yeah i think its about time for a new deck anyways. maybe an alpine, or pioneer deck. i get paid this week so new deck with full rockford fosgate components.
which one is the acc fuse?
