I bought a T1809 HU for a good price, It is real nice as it is. I love it, I retain the iPod connection and have plenty of room for expantion. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with the LEDs. I would like to change them to red to match my radar detector as well as all of the other LEDs, HVAC and gauges. I've done research and am confident i can change those myself. I have not seen too much about this particular HU. I do not really want to take it apart just yet without seeing pictures of it disassembled. Gotta do some homework first.

thanks, already did. Definately don't have the technology to change them myself. Garage1217 is pro.

 

if youre trying to change it from amber to blue there is some sort of combo code to do that. i dont know what it is but i have seen it done and the blue looks pretty good on it
