just wanted to let you guys know, that I got the struts TSB done and i no longer have a rattle/creaking/wierd noise coming from the hatch. All nice and quiet. Like it should be. Try it out. Its free.

TSB is Technical Service Bulliten... it's similar to a recall only a recall is something of VERY HIGH importance, while a TSB is just a known fix for a common problem... TSB's are served under warranty but only if you go to your dealer complaining of a certain common problem...

 

Were you notified through the mail, or by some other means? I can't find a strut TSB anywhere. 'Preciate any help.

 

TSB's aren't sent out in the mail.... there is a place online that has them listed, but I don't know when they've been updated last.... the dealer service departments should have the complete list in their computers.... it's a dang long listing

 

theyll only fix it if you go on a test drive with a tech. AND they have to hear it also. so, if you dont hear it that day, dont go to the dealer that day. itll just be a waste of gas. i tried already. i just have to wait for a warm day now cuz thats when it usually happens.

 

Do you have aftermarket springs? Wonder if they would replace em' then?
