I want one, but as Doc pointed out, fading and overall durablity is a concern for me. I don't want the color coming off on my hand.

how much$$$$$$$? it would be cool for shows and stuff, and maybe even to normally drive with.

i would do either an eight ball, or whichever one is solid red or solid blue.

It's not a matter of it flaking off or anything. The white resin will yellow in the sun, and the colors will bleach/fade. After awhile, it won't look as pretty. That's all.

I started using mine spring of last year and this summer my car sat out in the sun all day every day (in Az sun). As of now, the white part isn't pure white but it isn't yellow yet either, it's a little faded but not noticably unless you are really looking at it when it's not on the car.. I would say that the overall durability of the billiard ***** isn't that bad, I mean I used my metal one for about ten months and it looks worse because it got scratched and such.

I'm thinking that these will be about fifteen dollars, maybe a little more because I have to buy new taps (to thread it).

I'm told they are brand new but they aren't out of the box new. I usually don't have a problem finding ones that are in perfect condition though. If you want one out of the box new that is a problem because I'd have to buy a set and then you could only have certain numbers and I would have to ask for more money and all that. But if enough of you want me to buy a set and are willing to be flexible on numbers it's possible.

well i'll take either an 8, 2, or 3 for the manual tranny which i think is 12mm. do you thread them pretty deep? i have a creative compacts short shifter but i'd like to not see any of the shifter shaft when it's on. but i am definitly interested if you can get a definite price including shipping.

I'm going to say the final price is $25 shipped by UPS. A little higher than I originally thought, sorry.

There's almost the same weight.

edit: The billiard ***** are almost the same weight as the obx mesh shift ****. That's the only one I have for comparison but they're within an ounce. Don't know about the stock one since I don't have one.

Well, how much of the shifter needs to be covered? We do drill them and thread them pretty deep, mine is about 3/4 drilled I believe.

Would you mind measuring (with the shift **** off) the length from the top of the shift arm to where the boot is.
Thank you.
