Default Rear Hatch vibrating when windows down

I have a 05 TC, bought new, got 200k plus on it, it's been rode hard and put up wet, literally sometimes lol, been an awesome car, my AC has been out for a couple months so I've been driving around with the windows down, all of a sudden out of the blue my back hatch is literally bouncing when the wind is blowing in at around 60-70 mph, seriously thought I had a flat as much as it moved the car lol then I happened to look in the rear mirror and see it bouncing, any ideas on how to adjust or fix?!? It's not open obviously but it's moving up and down a good 1-2 inches when the windows are down, thanks in advance

1-2 inches?! That's a lot of play man. I would just take it into a shop and get it fixed if you're not that good at any automotive maintenance. Either that and look around to see what might be loose and tighten them down. If it's the actual window that's loose on the hatch itself then you'd definitely want to get it adjusted by a professional.

is the door open idiot light on when this happens? 1-2 inches surely tells me that the hatch is indeed open. maybe the switch is faulty.
