Default Rear view camera

I'm gna install a rear view camera. I pretty much have an idea of what to do as far as getting the wire through Licence plate To the trunk on my tc. But then where do I run it on the roof? How do i run it from the roof to my indash? And also is there a reverse light power wire in the dashboard where I could tap power from? Thanks all help is appreciated

what year is your tc? I will look up the wiring for you. As far as running the wire you just have to figure that out as you go. If you have already figured out how to get from the license plate area through the hatch and from the hatch to the body of the car you should have no issue running it the rest of the way

The reverse wire is

Pink + in the fuse box white 30 pin plug A pin number 30

To run to the front I would just tuck the wire in between the headliner and the plastic all the way till you get to the a pillar. Then go in between the outer metal removing the weather strip and run it that way till you get under the dash then from there it's easy. Make sure you run the wire BEHIND the airbag not over it.

Damn the air bag part sounds dangerous. Are there airbag sensors there that triggers the airbags? If so what do they look like. Thanks for your help btw

No air bag sensors. Those should be in the bumper.

Yea you won't get near any sensors in what you are doing just don't cut any wiring on your way to the dash till you find that pink wire.

If you're really concerned about going thru the headliner or the pillar with the airbags, you could certianly take the low road behind the trunk/rear side panels, under the door sill and to the fusebox. It will certainly require more wire and more removal.
