Default removing temperature control **** bezel

does any one know how to remove the bezel around the temp control ****? I messed up mine when I was sanding my waterfall during the painting process. I have a new one in the mail but I dont know how to remove the piece otherwise I would have done that rather than sanding around it and masking it off...

once the waterfall piece is separate from the HVAC unit (a few philips screws from the back side) i believe you can turn it and remove it. It's pretty obvious when you look at it from the back side, its just been a while for me.

They are all right depending on what you need to do.

To remove the bezel from the car, you pull it out (and you need to do this rather than painting it in the car) by hand. You need to close the stereo door first. Next you need to pull the lower silver bezel around the shifter back and up to get it loose. Then pull the bottom of the waterfall out first. Then pull the whole waterfall straight out, unplug the harness for the HVAC and you are done.

To remove the HVAC controls from the bezel, you first pull the temp **** off, then flip it over and remove the 4 Phillips screws in the back of the HVAC module and pop it out of its clips. You then will have just the bezel and the stereo door portions. If you need me to, I can email you a copy of the instructions I send to people when they ship me their HVAC for led swaps. It has pics and instructions for removing it.
