Replace entire head unit w/ AUX input?
I want to replace my car head unit with a single AUX jack wired into my speaker system somehow to connect to my PSP. Is this at all possible, or will I need to get the PIE TOY03?
I'm assuming it would require an amp of some sort, which I do not wish to spend money on. Any possible courses of action that would cost less than the PIE TOY (~$70)? It would be nice to get rid of the head unit altogether so I can fit my PSP in there.
Don't hate please; I'm a starving student and I like messin' around with this kind of stuff. DIY is good for you!
Cheers in advance!

be easier to tune and sound better ^^^
I agree with scion.xa... you can find some dirt cheep stereos with aux and usb ports in them if you want to listen to your psp. If you want better quality sound spend 100-150 and get a decent head unit. I still have stock speakers and spent 125 on a pioneer sterio and the change in quality was amazing. If you get a single din, the dash harness would probably be big enough to hold your psp too
