Where can I purchase a replacement stereo cover with all the parts necessary? (Besides the dealer).

 

You just want the stereo cover or the whole console unit? I had to pull out the stereo door from mine... dunno what to do with it.

Let me see some pics first. If I don't like the condition of the entire console, I will just take the stereo door and the guts that are part of it. Springs, gears, etc... Mines too is pretty dinged up.. When I get mines, do yourself a favor too guys, clear coat it.

if you don't mind me asking what kind of head unit did you install in your car. i'm looking at getting a head unit in the near future but not sure which one i want to get. i'm also looking at ideas to what the radio will look like inside a tC.

Hey whats up, Havent gotten my tC yet waiting for it to hit the dealership its in progress, but i was just wondering if you install a In Dash DVD/Navi unit can you keep the Cover or does it have to go?

Yes.. should fit, if you get a good dash kit. The one I got had some fitment issues which is why i took the door off.

 

krdshrk - that may not have been necessary, i have a double DIN head unit and the door wouldn't close at first, but after redrilling holes it fits fine (see below)

 

NiiCE , Exactly how i want to go when i get my tC here in a couple weeks. That will prob be my first mod,Besides lowering it. I will prob go with the Eclipse DVD/ Navi unit though. My bro is a Prof Installer and i have the Hook-Ups at the local shop, ive done the head-unit thing in the past but this time i want to step things up and go a lil nicer.

 

Yea, i ended up going w/ the kenwood because of price, and i'm not even using it as a HU - i have an xbox w/ all my music on it, and buttons located in the drivers side door (near the window controls) so i can scroll through it all...this is the best pic i have, i really should get some better ones....

 

Thats nice. I would probably be placing my PS2 in the car, or wait and put the PS3 in there.
