Default Replacing stock speakers

I have a 2007 Scion tC with the IPOD head unit. Recently I noticed that it sounds like one of my speakers might be blown. Bass sounds terrible. I would like to replace the 4 speakers in my car and keep the stock head unit. What is a good choice for speakers that will sound better than the stock ones and work well with the stock head unit?
