Default Review: JL Audio TR650-Csi Components

OK, so I got a set of the JL TR650-CSi separates and let me tell you, they sound awesome when used to replace the front stock speakers. Install was a breeze and I couldn't be happier with the sound. It totally wakes up the front stage in the tC. I even faded it more to the front now because you can hear the difference in sound quality from the stock rear speakers. I'll be replacing the rears later this week with the equivalent JL speaker. I bought two sets, one for a friend, but he backed out, so I have another set I can sell if anyone is interested, these retail for $199 but I would be willing to sell my extra set for $165 shipped. If you are looking to replace the front midbass and tweeters, I would definitly go with these. You could spend $300 for the XR JL's but I think the TR's do the trick just fine.

If you want rear fill when running JL TR650 components up front, run the JL TR650-CXi coaxials for rear speaker replacement...

Yeah the CXi is what I'm getting for the rear. I wouldn't recommend the separates for the rear unless you want to cut holes in the panel for the tweeter. A nice coaxial will fill in just fine.
