RFID ignition
Greetings!
Can anyone confirm for me whether or not the Tc uses RFID in the ignition system?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

what would RFID be used for? You meant to verify each key, to prevent key copy theft sort of thing?
I thought RFID was used in those "keyless ignition" systems (push start with no real key)

RFID is also used for the engine immobilizer, which the tC has.

yea, if you want to test it out, wrap your key in aluminum foil (not the metal part that goes inside the ign) and try to start your car!
