Is it wrong that I am completely lost? So I can just start threads about my thoughts and personal life just to keep everyone updated on what's going on with me? Oh wait I can, it's called Facebook, and I don't have one. This is a Facebook status update. Don't do this on here. This couldn't have been about anything more than absolutely nothing. I have caged many vehicles. Most of them were race cars so it was completely gutted which is very nice. I have done regular cars with everything needed to stay intact, and it sucks. You have to basically gut the car, put the cage in, and then rebolt everything back in. First off, if you pay someone to do this, I'd tell you no way, because you are looking at a few thousand dollars to do it. If you do it yourself, you are going to need a tube bender, an awesome drill, lots of bolts, the piping, sandwich plates, and welding machine and piiss ton of patients and time where your car is parked. This isn't a one day or weekend project if you don't know what you are doing. I can cage a race car in 4 hours no problem, but if you aren't stripping it out, there's no way man. There's some insight on this genius, yet useless idea you have. Roll cage in a daily driver... jesus...

If this is going into your daily I would suggest you really think about it. You'll have to remove the sound deadening I used dry ice and a chisel not fun at all. You'll have to get the inside painted unless you don't care for the mismatch color. The noise factor can drive some crazy. I gutted out my car and drove 6 hrs from socal to SF for a car show never again.....
