it alll depends on where you take it. Nicer shops will charge a lot more then your local stereo place but I wouldnt go cheap on fiberglass work

In order to get something like that your gonna have to be looking into 8 inch subs or some kind of shallow mount subs. By moving to a better sub you will get better sound quality but if you are looking for huge increase in bass you arent gonna get it from something that small.

If I were you I would ask around in your regional forum and find someone who does good fiberglass work and get him to do it for you. I would also look into doing like 1 12" back there. It will take up a little bit more room but you will get a lot better sound and a lot more bass.

Took me almost a month and a half to complete both. Now I am performing the finishing touches.

$400 and up for a custompartly-fiberglass box by itself wrapped in carpet is what my old shop would've charged. Prices vary wildly tho.

Add a couple hundred more for additional curves or paint.

Didn't see that koolestkutta posted the same thing, but from my link it's $100 cheaper for the exact same thing

Work on that looks pretty shoddy^^
Mainly just the carpet, but I'm about to find out how hard it really is to carpet FG.

Yea I made it myself
and carpeting around a fiberglass compount curve is not the easiest thing ever.
But you can't beat the space management: 1.25 cu.ft. each box with false floor and trunk space to spare.

figure 500 for the box and carpeted, fiberglass is something i would either go to a high end shop for or at least a friend that actually knows what he is doing and has some evidence of stuff he's done previously

I was really just planning on giving it away cause it is just taking up space and i don't want to trow it away because of all the hours of work that went into it.

I know what you mean now, just tried to carpet my fg box today...all I'll say is...I'm glad it's not going in my car. It looked great...till I started carpeting it. Ended up with I think 7 seams, two right across the front face and the bottom piece is just a square of carpet.....its rough..
