RPM Gauge/Needle STUCK, HELP!
Okay, so I swapped out my LED's in my gauge cluster this past Saturday and everything went well (in the gauge cluster anyway, the center console is a different story...) Today I noticed (not sure if it was happening prior to today, or not) that the needle on my RPM gauge was stuck at '0' and "twitching" as if trying to move. I pulled out the cluster and took it apart. Took me about 45 mintues to get it to do a full "spin" from 0-8 at engine startup, and it was fine. But once it is put back into the dash, it stops at '0' again. After experimenting with it, I found that it will not move unless the needle is placed between '1' and '2' (1500 RPM). At engine start it makes the full spin, and comes back to '1.5' but looks as if it is trying to go back to '0'. (Refer to image below)

It's as if there is some force or something on the back of the gauge cluster or on the needle keeping it from spinning to where it should be.
Anyone have any idea why this would happen, or how to go about fixing it?

Well, I did a combination of the two solutions stated here.
I rotated the needle once counter-clockwise, and pulled it out. I couldn't figure out how to pull it completely off to reposition it, and I didn't want to yank on it and break it, so i just pulled until it worked properly.
Everything is good.
I'd say lock this thread, but someone might have further questions eventually, if the mess up as I did.
Thanks to everyone for the help.
