Default running power wires questions

I was looking on this diy https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...highlight=runs and my question is, I can figure out where he's running the wires through the firewall. It looks like on the driver side. I was wondering if it would be easier to run it through where the ac low side pipe is since its already has a grommet and should be big enough to fit an 4-8 gauge wire.

15ft should be good enough if i'm going to run though the ac, should it?

its never good to runs wires near where heat is going to be... run it through the grommet above the brake pedal... its not that hard...

15 feet will be cutting it close... you proly wont make it...

umm but that hose is the low side. So there is one above the brake pedal? I'll take a look. Thanks for the help.

Theres also a big one behind the glove box. Just bend a coat hanger straight, tape on your wire and stab from the engine compartment in. Squeeze in the sides of the glove box to release it if you want more breathing room to work.

oh and make sure the tip of the coat hanger is covered so it doesnt damage anything. when we say above the brake pedal, its pretty high above the brake pedal and more to the right if i remember correctly.
