Satellite radio antenna placement pics pleaseeeee
I got xm radio for my tc and it's the commander mt which is a hard wire kit that is sort of in dash I am going to get doc iso cubby plate n mount the screen there that way it's a clean install no wires showing... The only prob I have is I don't wanna put antenna on outside body there really isn't a good looking place to put it... I was wondering if I can put it inside on dash on pssenger side corner with a little metal plate for better reception is this a good idea or is there a better place??? Pics please too[/quote]
SquallLHeart and others have placed GPS receivers (similar size to the satelite receivers depending on the brand/model) under the sunroof.
If you open the sunroof and look to the sides of the tracks, there should be enough room. There are details pics in a recent thread, but I couldn't find them in a few searches.

Here's mine...

I'm so used to it now that I rarely notice it anymore. Just make sure to put some double-sided adhesive on it
so the magnet doesn't move around and scratch the paint.

I've long since removed XM satellite radio from my tC, but the following website forum and topic has images outlining how I (Daspoo) installed and ran the antenna for it from the passenger outside of the car (directly behind the car antenna) to the center console, hidden as much as possible. The site is also a great place to note the latest info about SiriusXM satellite radio service in general. Hope it helps! http://www.xmfan.com/viewtopic.php?t...ght=2005+scion
