The factory neon for under the dash and in the cup holders stopped working, i would care so much but my cigarette lighter doesn't work either. So no charging my zune, or radar detector. I went on a trip to NY it worked on the way up but after we grabbed so food and started back it stopped somewhere in between there.

 

Question is what could have caused this and where is the fusebox for this car!

 

Fusebox is next to the battery. Diagram in on the lid.

 

It's inside the car by the driver's door. It's behind the hood release under the dashboard.

Update looking for the cigarette lighter fuse. The wonderful people at scion tapped the wire off the cig lighter for it. Prolly on the stock fuse too.

 

sounds like fuse issue the ciggarette lighter uses a
15amp (No # 25 in the fuse box) and it is in the interior fuse box on the drivers side by your left knee.
If you are lucky you should still have some spare fuses in your under the hood fuse box i belive there is a spare 15 amp in the fuse box lid.

Yes it had a 10 amp fuse in it? Also when they tapped the wires the first time they left two of the hole unshielded and i believe they touched causing the problem. fixed, thanks for the help!
