Default Scion Navigation System plastic surround

Hey guys (and gals). I've had an Alpine IXA-W404 installed in my Scion for some time now. Love the system, hate the damned factory door that's on it. Will the Scion surround that you can get for the SNS cover the same way for a double DIN model like the Alpine? Will there be gaps on each side? Thanks for any info, searched and didn't find anything.

^^ I have this one and it looks great especially if you paint the sides to color match the waterfall.

Cool, I didn't know that they made a surround kit. Any pics by chance of it painted? Did you paint to match factory or repaint the waterfall? Thanks!

that's a cool alternative. if u decide for whatever reason to get the SNS cover, lemme know n i can go out and measure the dimensions for ya (i got the sns installed in mine).

but the SNS cover if i remember correctly costs around 70 from the dealership vs this one ($30). looks pretty much the same as the one linked above cept it's got the scion logo up top. imo, if the one above fits good, i'd go ahead and get it

This is the final result. Went ahead and got the Scion kit, got it pretty cheap for only 30 bucks. I like it a lot better than that damned door!
