Default Scion Security system owners: Quick question.

When the system is armed (the red LED blinking), and you try to open the driver/passenger door by pulling on the handle, does the alarm go off? Because when I do that with my tC nothing happens, but the alarm does go off when I try to open the tail gate.

-Thanks

It probably won't go off right away... but did you try to pull on the door handle a few times? I couldn't imagine it would go off just pulling once. Anyone could do that...

I was not aware Scion Security "went off" at all. I thought it was just keyless entry, glass-break sensor, and ignition immobilizer.

opening door from outside no.

if you had window down, car armed, and tried to open from inside
... car locks, and alarm goes off.

and alarm will go off it hears a loud glass tapping. or glass breaking.

and engine immobilizer is stock, doesn't come with scion security.. oh and keyless entry too.

it's mostly just a glass break sensor.

Yeah I tried yanking on it a few times. Will it even go off if someone tries to pick my locks or shoves into my window bay to trip the locking mechanisim? Damn I shouldn't have wasted money on this thing.
