Scion tC radio
I found this when I was driving one day after I burned a CD.
If you burn a CD in Windows Media Player (I think the one just before version 9) you can get a lot more quality out of your pioneer radio.
1. Go to Windows Media Player
2. Select your songs you want to copy to your CD-R/RW
3. Under the "Burn" tab section in the top right corner select "HighMat" format. Note: in this type of format you can burn more than 40 tracks.
4. Pop the CD-R/RW into your Scion cd player
5. Push the button where you control your bass, tremble, etc. until you find something that says "SRT". Note: usually it will say SRT:OFF to turn it on just turn your control button to the right.
Notice the difference?

SRT = Sound Retouch Technology.... it doesn't matter how you burn your mp3s or wmas... it expands the compression to provide CD playback quality..... you'll get that bass back...
it's in the manual for the stereo... alot of people who read knows about it already.
here's a question for ya.. what car type is your SSP in..?
