Default Shift **** question

I drove my bandmates new civic ex and absolutely loved the feel of the shift **** he had and it seems like it would go with the flow of the tC interior. I tried to look for the thread pattern for the 06-07 civics but couldnt find anything. Does anyone know if it would fit into the tC? I know older civic ***** would not work but i didn't know if honda changed them for this year...
this is the best pic i can find of how it looks, I'll keep looking

Doesnt have the H on it, just the gear pattern on the top. Its aluminum with leather, , It just fits really well and it would match the interior well. I have an OBX **** and the thing keeps burning my hand so I want t a new one. I haven't seen a **** that looks like that one. I wish I could find a better pic to show how its shaped

so because ours is m12 it won't fit right? I just don't want to get stuck with a **** that wont fit. if it doesnt then I will invest in another aftermarket one that doesn't have wire mesh on it haha

^^ correct, it wont fit. of course you can also re-thread your stock shaft at a shop but it's probably easier to just get either universal or 1 that has the correct thread pitch.
