Sirius Sat. Radio Q's
I'm getting a new system installed with a Pioneer head unit. I currently have a staremate and I'm thinking about getting rid of the unit and running the sirius from the HU.
Has anyone had both and which do you prefer?
Also where is a good place for the satellite antenna? Seeing as how the roof is glass that's really not a good spot.
Thanks

i got my XM antenna right on the dash next to the windsield on the right hand side.. or the left hand side.. idk i have both my GPS n XM on there.. not sure but you don't really notice it.
I had both.
I personally like it better on my HU
because when I had the regular radio it would fall off of my windshield and the antenna you have to put on your roof.
I just wasn't into have wires all over the place.

well the plug an play has better controls and display while the direct connect is cleaner looking and still plays the same music. it really depends on your preference. If it were me I would get the direct connect.
