Does this work with the stock pioneer head unit in the 06 TC?

It says, "is designed to easily connect to all Pioneer 2005~present Satellite Radio Ready car stereos (SAT-Ready)...",
so it should work. All you have to do is run the antenna and pay for a subscription.

no that's for aftermarket pioneer decks, uses the IP-Bus connection present on all but like the deh-1900mp and maybe 2900mp aftermarket pioneer decks

*edit*
This is what you would need to integrate sirius into the factory stereo:

They just released the unit so it may not be readily available yet

True, I forgot that the 'o6 HUs don't have RCA cable inputs on them. Sorry.

i had the 6disc in my 05 tc.. for a whole month, and i can't really remember the i/o connectors on the back. but considering the radio had the option for satellite, it should be the same connector... i could be wrong, best bet would be to go to the dealership and see if one of the new sirius/xm tuners they offer would work with it. if it does, then DEI's sirius tuner will work. DEI(directed electronics) makes the new toyota sirius tuners as well
