Default So i just got the Alpine Iva-w205

What is the best dash kit to use for this and how do i install it so that i can keep the sliding door. Im a newb and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

howd you get a 205. they don't come out till like the end of june.

Just get either the Schosche or Metra wiring harness and dash kit. The dash kit you will have to file down because once the front opens on the HU they are too tight and prevent it from closing again. On the factory brackets there are some dimples. Just drill these out with I think a 3/8", maybe 3/16", whatever is close to the size of the bolts. This will push the HU back far enough for the door to close. I am looking at getting this deck as well as soon as I can sell my Avic-D3, which I just bought. I wasn't expecting the W205 to be out so soon.
