Default So I just got my eD stealth sub box and..

..it's frickin BEAUTIFUL!

Big super ups and props to eD for this one.. perfectly engineered, nice rubberized coating, great assembly, looks like it was born there.. super nice and worth EVERY penny!

Loaded it with the Pioneer shallow mount 10" (less than $100 new on Ebay) and wow.. this thing kicks! Beautiful distortion free sound with perfect mid and low bass. Recommend this setup highly.

Thanks!

$167.89 - Box with shipping to FL

$91 - Pioneer Premier TS-SW1041D Shallow mount sub
http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-TS-SW104...QQcmdZViewItem

Pics are on the eD website of the box.. I didn't use the SQ sub as pictured..

Box needed just a little shave of the inside hole with a die grinder and it slid right in. Grabbed some 12x3 pan head screws and 3/8x1/2 high density foam tape for the seal.

Box = .3 cu/ft
Sub min req = .35 cu/ft

Sound is tight and DEEP.. I had a 12" ported Phoenix Gold sub thrown in the back until the box came off of backorder, and the Pioneer hits much tighter and deeper. Not as sensitive.. did have to turn amp gain up a little. But, quality of bass is great.

Running a HiFonics Zeus zxi8006 5ch amp 55x4 200x1 RMS (Under $200 shipped on Ebay) and the whole system is perfectly powered.. All the power you need. Crisp distortion free sound at club levels.

I'll try and snap some pics later..[/img]

does the top of the sub sit flush with the box? or is it sunk in a little so you can still put stuff on it.

my friend bought the stealthbox and threw the pioneer sub in there....it was clear real quick that the pioneer was a hell of a lot louder (i previously had the sq10 in my car)....sq was better on the sq10, but the sq10 wasnt nearly as loud.

Hmmm....I am most likely going to go this route....I just don't know which sub I want yet. The stealth box + sq10 for $205 on the ED website is a good deal...but I could always just get the box empty for $150 and add my own sub. Is there anyone else with this setup? If so, what sub do you have and how does it sound?

I thinking about going with a setup like this. I was just wondering where you guys put your amp with this setup. Id like mine to be hidden but I dont know where to put it so it dont get too hot. Any suggestions?

I, like a few others, have put my amps behind the panels where the rear speakers are (or were, in my case). Will require some fabrication of bracketry for sure. I haven't had any issues with heat, either.

up6's are awesome and the pioneer is a good sub and loud but really doesn't have the sq that the sq10 has. with the eD box, the box was built for the sq10 subwoofer, putting anything else in it wont yield the quality that the sq10 provides.
