Default So I was qouted a price for an alarm and install.....

So a reputable local shop gave me a price qoute of $750-$800 for a Clifford 50.7x.
The alarm and install will include remote start and the automatic window function.

Also, I already have the 2 529t and the PK-ALL necessary for the install. I just need the alarm (Clifford 50.7x) and someone to install everything.

I honestly think that price is pretty steep. What do you guys think?

yea I think that is pretty steep since the alarm is only like 300 itself.

that is pretty steep especially since you already have the modules already...a reasonable price should be around $4-500

i had mine installed for 200$ but i bought the alarm seperatly so all I paid was the remote start module and labor

well... in all honesty... its not the worst i have ever heard... but i wouldnt have charged that much...

figure the alarm itself is 500 installed... then to install the window module is 75 a piece... just because it sucks to run all the damn wires through the door boot.... and just because you didnt buy the parts from me its another 50 bucks to install the bypass... so in my book your at 700 dollars plus tax on the alarm itself... so yeah maybe 750....

just do your research on the shop make sure they are reputable.... and they do a good job... its always worth spending a little more when it comes to alarms to have it done the right way... the first time...
