well you know that little cubby hole under right infront of the shifter...(usually put cds or somthing in it)

For one i dont think a single din unit will fit in there its just not big enough. However maybe PM the guy from this post he did a custom dash in his tC with some fiberglass and stuff turned out decent. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=92182

I was playing with this idea too.... but the dimensions aren't friendly at all....

I'm looking into other locations for my HU, as I'm working on a Xenarc in the my stock stereo location...

My problem with this is: If you leave your car, you can't hide it (unlike if you installed it where the headunit should be), so I'd just be careful of getting robbed
