some fun with LEDS
So i have some spare time now and I was thinking of adding some more leds to the mix. I'm thinking of putting blue leds somewhere in the door panel so when I open the door, they turn on. I would like to do a line towards the bottom edge of the door (possibly 5 or 10 leds) however, i want to know what you guys think.
I want to stick wth Oznium because I have had nothing but good experiences with them. SO.....should I use the 4 chip superflux, the regular prewired, or possibly one of LED strips?

bump... for one more question
If i want these leds to turn on with the dome lights (that is when the door opens really) do I just tap into the dome light? fused indepedently or not? and where would this wire be located / color? thanks guys

you want to tap the blue (negative) dome light wire to do this. Its located under your switch panel behind the pull out cover. And then obviously run 12v constant power to it.

Its real easy Good luck.

i just had a fused power source to the lights.. and then tapped the ground that the dome lights go to when you open the door or unlock the car.
i used the blue wire, pin 2 on the 1K connector that goes into the inside instrument panel j/b
but the orange on 1E, pin 27 is another option too.

as far as positive... yeah.. people have been using that spot in the pic above... but i dunno. if it works... but yeah.. the blue wire i mentioned is the same negative like in the pic.
