Default Sound quality with X930BT/Stock Speakers

i installed the Pioneer AVIC-X930BT head unit myself and soldered all the wires. sometimes while listening to the radio, the sound does not seem to be very clear or it seems to fade in and out. i do not remember having this problem with the stock radio.

i am not sure if the problem is with the wiring since i soldered them..do i need to also upgrade the stock speakers ?

Just double check your soldering, make sure your connections have not cracked or split.

You should definitely see an improvement in sound, that unit has slightly higher rms power output per speaker plus the ability to eq the sound to your preference.

If you want better sound then upgrade your speakers.

You don't need to upgrade the stock speakers but you might want to.

If the sound fades in and out while you're listening to the radio it could be a bad signal, check the antenna connection and see if you have the same problem while listening to a CD or iPod. If the speakers aren't clear, play with the eq settings.
