Sounds like a decent deal....

the only difference in Single and Dual voice coils is the configuration in which you can wire it. You use a specific VC configuration to achieve a certain ohm load at the amp which changes the power output of the amp.

^ same here. 280watt amp for a 12" kicker? my best guess it would either be the CVR12 with 400rms or the C12 with 150rms. if it is a CVR definately pick it up; i got my CVR for 150 alone with out a box. but your deal gets a sub and a box for $50 more. im just iffy about that amp cause you'd be either running too much or not enough watts for RMS. ill check it them out later since i live near there. lol :D

Depends on the model of the sub and amp. Find out what they are and let us know

Kicker Comp probably...that's their entry line. I see it for $90 @ sounddomain.
Something like this I imagine:

From my research, I don't see the TMA being worth more than $75-$80 if that.

So I think you have your answer...pretty normal price

The max rating really doesn't matter. The sub is rated at 150W RMS. On second thought...it looks like TMA was bought by JL so the amp can't be that bad. imo, you should get a better sub to pair with that amp. Something like an Infinity Kappa Perfect for example or a Kicker CompCVR2 for example.
