judging by some of your other posts on this thread, you seem like you've never heard of a speaker baffle before. all i'm saying is if you haven't figured out what your door speakers even mount to, take the time to make sure you get a full understanding of your whole project before you start anything or you're going to run into problems.

don't take it the wrong way. i'd respond in the same way if you came into the F/I forums talking about installing your new turbo kit but you couldn't figure out how to attach your air filter to your charge piping.

i'm sure you'll be fine, though, because as you say... you "know your poop"

most speakers come with a chyrstler bracket !!!!!, its a circle with three long tabs comming off of it, they work perfect!!!! and if you go to best buy the chyrsler adaptors thier are only 15 bucks for a pair they work for bolth the front and back..but 8 out of 10 speakers that you buy this adaptor is already in the box especialy the higher end speakers.....i do this stuff 6 days a week trust me easy stuff!!!

As for the OP's second question, cut the plug off or splice wires into those wires if you plan to return to stock eventually. Here's a site with the wire color codes.

Ok mr. paranoid. He's right, if you're retarded and have no clue what you're doing, don't cut or splice anything.

The baffles are made of wood. You just screw the speakers into the wood. With screws. I don't pilot hole anything, because pretty much every brand/line of speakers is different.
